I am deeply committed to addressing the urgent needs of our homeless community in Central Ohio. Driven by personal experience with homelessness, I founded SHOWER IS POWER, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential showering facilities. Having overcome homelessness myself, I understand firsthand the challenges faced by those without access to basic hygiene. My journey to stability began with Greater Columbus Habitat for Humanity in 1994, ultimately leading to homeownership. This experience instilled in me a passion for empowering others. I am actively building SHOWER IS POWER through education, networking, and resource acquisition.

My background in education, utility management, and job coaching for impoverished individuals has equipped me with valuable skills and a strong network. I am determined to leverage these assets to create lasting change. With a bachelor's degree, IT certifications, and participation in workforce development programs, I am prepared to lead SHOWER IS POWER to success.

My vision extends beyond providing showers; I aim to be a catalyst for change, raising awareness about homelessness and inspiring community action to reduce its impact. I believe that everyone deserves to feel seen.
